Guided by Mary Kay Ash's dream to enrich the lives of women everywhere, the Mary Kay Ash Foundation raises and distributes funds to invest in breakthrough cancer research to find cures for cancers affecting women and ending domestic violence against women.

CANCER RESEARCH

Annually, the Mary Kay Ash Foundation is proud to support programs and services of organizations providing care to those affected by a cancer diagnosis, translational cancer research grants, clinical trials for cancers affecting women, and the International Postdoctoral Scholars in Cancer Research Fellowship in collaboration with UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

The Foundation has funded more than 270 unique researchers in their pursuits to finding cures for cancers affecting women.

iT focuses on funding research for innovative grants for translational research of cancers affecting women (ovarian, uterine, breast, endometrial or cervical cancer among others).

ERADICATING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Home should be a safe haven. Unfortunately, the homes of millions of women and children are plagued by domestic violence. The Mary Kay Ash Foundation is committed to stopping the violence, breaking the silence, and making a difference for these women and children.

Since 2000, 2,700+ organizations advocating to eradicate domestic violence have received grants from Mary Kay Ash Foundation, totaling over $56 million. The Mary Kay Ash Foundation has supported over six million women and girls seeking shelter and services free from abuse. During the pandemic, the Foundation also assisted first responders by donating funds and hundreds of thousands bottles of hand sanitizer.
