How to Create a Facebook Group
This is the LOGO for Groups on Facebook.👇🐼

(Scroll down to the images below for Phone Instructions!)

1. Login to your Facebook account.
Either one is fine.
Computer


2. Go to your own Profile Page.

Click on your own picture at the top right of the screen.


3. Find "Groups"

You're on your profile page,
there is a bubble at the top that has a circle with people on it
and it says Groups.
Click that.

SCROLL DOWN AND DOWNLOAD ONE OF THESE OPTIONS FOR COVER PHOTOS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE READY.
IT WILL BE NEEDED IN THE NEXT STEPS)



4. Click Create Group.

There is a button on the left side that says,
"Create New Group." Click that.


5. Name your Group

Along the left side,
1a. There is a box for you to upload a Cover Photo
2.a. There is a box for the Group name
3a. There is a box for the Privacy Setting (Choose Private.)
4a. and a box will pop up for your Visibility Setting. (Choose Visible.)
5a. Click Done.
(You can invite friends now or do it later)


Congratulations! 🥳
Your Group has been Created!
Find it anytime on the following Logo👇🐼  on your Facebook App (phone) or Page (computer).

COVER PHOTO CHOICES

1. Click image.
2. It will likely download directly to your downloads folder. Please check that before you go to the next step.
It could open in a new window. If it does, go to step 3. 👇🐼
3. If you are on your phone, you can screenshot it, or Save it to your photos.
If you are on your computer, you should be able to right click and save it to your computer to upload on step 5 from above.
